Evaluating a Provider

Written by Julie Lanio

You can see any provider's full profile before reaching out. Profiles give you a comprehensive look at the provider- services they offer, ratings, team size and more. You'll also see their bio and photos of their works, and badges awarded by Breezeway, allowing you to spot experienced, qualified providers at a glance.

The Provider Profile

Selecting View Profile opens the provider's full profile.

The profile card shows:

  • Profile photo, business name and badges

  • Average rating and number of reviews (select the review count to jump to reviews)

  • Overview: service area, services offered, languages spoken and team size

  • Breezeway experience: years on Breezeway and number of tasks completed

The profile details include:

  • Bio: the provider's description of their business and experience

  • Service area: a map showing the area they cover

  • Photos: Examples of the provider's work

  • Reviews: Feedback from past clients the service provider has worked with

Badges

Badges are awarded automatically by Breezeway. Providers cannot select or request them, and badges a provider has not earned are not shown.

  • Background checked: The provider's company administrator completed a third-party background check.

  • Multilingual: The provider speaks 2 or more languages.

  • Breezeway Veteran: The provider has used Breezeway for 3 or more years.

  • Top Tasker: The provider has completed a substantial volume of tasks using Breezeway.

Background Checks

Background checks are optional for providers. A missing badge means the provider has not completed a check. The check covers the person who manages the provider's company, and the service provider company is responsible for vetting each member of their crew. Companies who choose to employ service providers remain responsible for their own screening, insurance and supervision of any provider that is hired.
