Overview

We've introduced pricing preset options to give more flexibility to establish standard markup percentages or fixed amounts, that are able to be adjusted for individual supplies and customizable at the task and template modifier levels.

It is important to first understand how each term is defined in terms of supplies.

Price- A supply's unit cost plus markup

Charge- The amount that is being charged for a billable supply

Total Charge- The total itemized amount of Costs plus Charge of billable supplies

When the company level Supplies setting is enabled, the default markup field will be visible in General Settings. The markup field will default to 0% until it is changed.
