Messaging users have different options to customize your experience and navigate more effortlessly through your inbox. Read more about those settings below!
Accessing Your Settings
Navigate to your initials in the bottom left corner of your account and select Settings. From here you'll select Messaging to view and customize your settings.
Unread Message Counts
You are able to control how unread messages are counted across your team, to ensure clarity in notifications. You can choose:
Company-level- Unread message counts are shared across your team. When one team member reads a message, it is marked as read for everyone.
User-level- This is the default. Unread message counts are unique to each user. Reading a message won't affect other team members' unread counts.
Auto-Message Preview
This setting gives you the ability to enable or disable previews of auotmated messages in the Inbox. When enabled, all auto messages will appear in the converation preview. When this is disabled, only messages sent by a person will be visible.
Sort by Latest Guest Message
By enabling this, conversations will be sorted by the latest guest message. This does not include auto messages.
Auto Close Conversations
This setting allows you to customize the number of days before inactive conversations are automatically closed. You can set a specific number of days for auto-closure, and conversations with no activity after the set period will be automatically closed. Closed conversations remain in history and can be reopened manually, or will reopen if the guest sends a message.
Guest Check-In and Checkout via SMS
Toggling this setting on will allow guests to check in or out by texting your Messaging phone number. Learn more about Check-in and Checkout via SMS HERE.
