Overview
If your Track integration stops syncing because of an authorization issue, you’ll need to reauthorize the connection. This usually happens when your Track Server Key has been deleted or regenerated, or when the connection between Track and Breezeway has been disconnected. Common signs include properties or reservations no longer updating in Breezeway. Reauthorizing involves generating a new Server Key in Track and sharing it with Breezeway Support so we can restore the connection to your existing account.
Before You Begin
To complete these steps, make sure:
You have access to your existing Breezeway account.
You are an Account Admin in Track.
You know your Track sub-domain. This is the first part of your Track web address. For example, if you log in at https://yourcompany.trackhs.com, your sub-domain is yourcompany.
💡 The Breezeway integration requires a Server Key. Channel Keys are not supported and will cause the connection to fail, so be sure the key type is set to Server.
Step 1: Generate a New Server Key in Track
In Track, click the Configuration gear icon in the top right, then go to Company Setup → API Keys.
Click + Server Key in the top right.
Click Generate Key and give the key a name (for example, “Breezeway”).
Confirm that Type is set to Server, then click Save Key.
Copy your Server Key and Server Secret.
Step 2: Send Your New Key to Breezeway Support
Email the following to support@breezeway.io:
Your Server Key
Your Server Secret
Your Track sub-domain
Our team will update your existing integration with the new key. There’s no need to create a new integration or set up your properties again.
Step 3: Confirm Your Data Is Syncing
Once we let you know the connection has been restored:
Your properties and reservations should begin updating in Breezeway shortly.
Spot-check a few properties and upcoming reservations against Track to confirm they match.
If your properties or reservations still aren’t syncing after reauthorization, contact us at support@breezeway.io and we’ll take a closer look.
