Reauthorizing Your Avantio Integration

Written by Ash Armstrong

Overview

If your Avantio integration stops syncing because of an authorization issue, you’ll need to reauthorize the connection. This usually happens when your Avantio API credentials have been changed or revoked, or when the connection between Avantio and Breezeway has been disconnected. Common signs include properties or reservations no longer updating in Breezeway.

Reauthorizing involves requesting new API credentials from Avantio and sharing them with Breezeway Support so we can restore the connection to your existing account.

Before You Begin

To complete these steps, make sure:

  • You have access to your existing Breezeway account.

  • You can contact Avantio to request new API credentials.

Step 1: Request New API Credentials from Avantio

Ask Avantio for a new API Key and API Secret for your Breezeway integration.

ℹ️ Avantio may label these credentials differently. The API Key may appear as Usuario, and the API Secret may appear as Password.

Step 2: Send Your New Credentials to Breezeway Support

Email the following to support@breezeway.io:

  • Your new API Key (Usuario)

  • Your new API Secret (Password)

Our team will update your existing integration with the new credentials. There’s no need to create a new integration or set up your properties again.

Step 3: Confirm Your Data Is Syncing

Once we let you know the connection has been restored:

  • Your properties and reservations should begin updating in Breezeway shortly.

  • Spot-check a few properties and upcoming reservations against Avantio to confirm they match.

If your properties or reservations still aren’t syncing after reauthorization, contact us at support@breezeway.io and we’ll take a closer look.
