Connect Airbnb to Breezeway to begin pulling properties (listings) and reservations.
Steps to connect the integration
Step 1: Login to Breezeway using the provided username and password.
Step 2: In the bottom left hand corner, hover over your initials and click on Settings.
Step 3: Select the Integrations tab on the left hand side menu.
Step 4: Once you are on the Integrations page, click the Add button next to Airbnb.
If you are not already logged into Airbnb, you will be directed to the login page.
Step 5: Once logged in, you will be taken to a page where you will grant Breezeway access to get reservation data.
*We only access the following:
Guest First Name
Guest Count
Check-in and Check-out dates
Past Review data
Step 6: Once accepted, we will complete the connection between your Airbnb account and your Breezeway account. Data will begin loading immediately.
Onboarding with active properties
If active properties are detected during onboarding - you will be presented with two options for enabling the integration.
1. Add new integration
Selecting 'Add new integration' will create new Breezeway properties that are connected to the Airbnb integration.
If there are existing properties in Breezeway that are using Airbnb iCals, and you'd like to connect those to Airbnb without duplicating them, use option 2 (Migrate to integration).
2. Migrate to integration
Migrating to Airbnb allows you to connect existing Breezeway properties to Airbnb. Selecting this option will take you to a property matching step, so we can automatically replace reservations from iCals, with reservations from the integration.
Once you are taken to the migration step, you will match Airbnb properties to those existing in Breezeway, as seen below.
Note: You do not have to match all properties.
- Properties left unmatched in the Airbnb property list will be created as new Breezeway properties
- Properties left unmatched in the Breezeway property list will experience no change (and will not be connected to Airbnb)
Once properties are matched, select the 'Complete migration' button in the top right corner. This will prompt a confirmation step, that will outline how properties will be updated based on which were matched.
When a property is migrated, we are matching the reservations between the new integration (Airbnb) and the existing reservations from the ICal link. We match and replace the iCal reservations with the reservation from Airbnb.
Reservations from Airbnb will:
receive faster updates if a date or other details change
Guest first name
Guest count
Add-ons
if you are leveraging messaging, you will be able to communicate with guests via Airbnb from within Breezeway.
This step could take a while given the number of properties being migrated.
Finally, you will be taken to the Connected Properties page. This page will list all Breezeway properties that are connected to Airbnb.
If new properties were created from Airbnb, then they would also appear on this list.
You can access the Connected properties page at any time by selecting 'Settings' from the menu.
