Breezeway's integration with Point Central Remote Locks

Overview

Leveraging Breezeway's property operations platform and Point Central remote locks adds an additional level of automation to make your operations more efficient. 

Once enabled, the Point Central integration will automatically notify your team when a guest or owner enters the checkout code upon departure.

Additionally, Messaging clients can use the PointCentral integration to automate sending guests their Arrival codes.


How It Works

Checkout Codes

When a guest enters their checkout code, we will send a notification to the person who is assigned to the first task in the workflow, and anyone assigned a task at the property that day.

This notification will be sent via email, and lets the assignee know the guest has entered their checkout code, meaning that the property is now vacant and ready to be cleaned/inspected. 

Example:

  • When the departing guest enters their checkout code, both Amy and Anna will be notified that the property is now vacant.

  • Based on Breezeway's workflow rules, Nate will be notified the property is ready for him to inspect after Amy presses 'complete' on her task.

  • Anna does get notified because she is scheduled a task that is not part of a workflow, and can go in at any point before check-in.

Viewing Access Codes

If a reservation has a guest arrival code, it will be displayed on two places- the Reservation Fly-out and the Reservation Details page.

  • If there is an access code associated with the reservation and we pull that code from the PMS, the Access Codes section will display.

  • There is currently only the option to have a Guest arrival code.

Reservation Fly-Out

When a reservation is selected, a fly-out will appear with more information from the PMS about the reservation.

Reservation Details

When the reservation fly-out is is expanded to display the Reservation Details, the Guest arrival code will also display from the Details page. Select the box with the arrow to expand the fly-out and access the Details page.

Messaging

The PointCentral integration allows us to pull Guest arrival codes from the integration, and store them with the reservation in Breezeway.

When a Guest arrival code is associated with a reservation, that code can then be texted to guests ahead of their arrival.

The Guest arrival code will populate in any SMS Message that includes the token titled Guest Access Token.

Example message:

When the message is sent to the Guest, we will populate the tokens above with the reservation details, including their PointCentral access code.
