The Smart Inbox is designed to help you identify guest conversations that may require special attention, and move those to the priority inbox in Messaging. This will help your teams quickly pinpoint guests who may be experiencing issues or requesting information or updates, to ensure timely and effective communication and positive guest experiences!

Getting Started

To enable Smart Inbox, navigate to your initials/avatar at the bottom left corner, select Settings then Messaging. Scroll to locate Smart Priority Inbox and toggle it on. Once enabled, you'll see there are some tags pre-loaded, and noted as System defaults. These will be toggled off by default, and toggling them on will activate them. You can pause a tag at any time by toggling it off. You are also able to search for tags, and create new ones.

Please note- System defaults cannot be deleted. Any tag that is manually created can be deleted by clicking into it. A red Delete button will be visible in the bottom left corner.

When you click into an existing tag, you are given the option to edit the description, change the color of the tag, and decide which inbox the issue should be routed.

Priority Inbox

Once activated, you will now see a Priority Inbox, in addition to the Inbox. You will also see the tags that were added to that conversation.

The system will utilize AI to add tags to conversations, and you are able to manually add and remove tags from a conversation as well. When you click the flyout to access the Conversation info, the tags will appear under Conversation Tags. By hovering over a tag, an x will appear to remove the tag. If you remove all tags, it will remove it from the Priority Inbox and add it to the Inbox. You are also able to add a tag here.
