ID Verification Required for Auto Messages
Enabled - If this feature is enabled, only the auto-message with the ID verification event will be delivered to guests, but no other auto-messages will be delivered until the guest is in a verified or approved state. This is an option in case a client wants to prevent any sensitive access code information, property address, etc. from being sent out to the guest before they have been verified.
Disabled - If the feature is disabled (default), then all relevant auto messages will be delivered to each guest regardless of if they are verified or not.
Email Notifications
You can opt into receiving email notifications when a guest’s verification is flagged by Autohost for review.
Email notification example:
Messaging View
Within Messaging, we’ve implemented a new filter for Verification status. You can easily view which conversations are with guests who are falling into Requires Review or Pending statuses, so you can follow up as needed.
Saving the View
When you’ve applied one or more of these filters, you can then click “Save” and save that view for yourself or all Messaging users at the company.
Reviewing a Guest Submission
When a verification requires review by an Administrator, there will be a yellow indicator in the reservation page, the reservation flyout, and the contact panel within Breezeway Messaging. Click “Learn More” and you’ll see a modal presented to you displaying the information that Autohost has found during their verification scans, as well as the ID photos and selfies submitted by the guest as part of the verification process.
Adjusting Risk Tolerance at the Property Level
When Guest Verification is first set up, the selected risk tolerance will be applied to all properties. Meaning that all reservations at these properties will require that type of ID verification.
However, if you need to adjust properties because you would like to increase or decrease their risk tolerance at those particular places, you can do that within the properties table within the “ID Verification” column.
Note: Making this adjustment will only require new reservations moving forward to require that new risk tolerance level of ID verification.
