Reauthorizing Your Airbnb Integration

Written by Ash Armstrong

Overview

If your Airbnb integration stops syncing because of an authorization issue, you’ll need to reauthorize the connection. This usually happens when Breezeway’s access has been revoked in Airbnb, or when the connection between Airbnb and Breezeway has been disconnected. Common signs include reservations no longer updating in Breezeway.

Airbnb connects by signing in, so there are no keys or tokens to copy. To reauthorize, you’ll sign back in to Airbnb from Breezeway and grant access again.

Before You Begin

To complete these steps, make sure:

  • You have access to your existing Breezeway account.

  • You have the login for the same Airbnb account that was originally connected to Breezeway.

⚠️ Be sure to sign in with the same Airbnb account you originally connected. Signing in with a different Airbnb account can cause duplicate listings and reservations in Breezeway. If you’re not sure which account was connected, contact us at support@breezeway.io before continuing.

Step 1: Reconnect Airbnb in Breezeway

  1. Log in to Breezeway.

  2. In the bottom left corner, hover over your initials and click Settings.

  3. Select the Integrations tab in the left menu.

  4. Find Airbnb and click Add.

Step 2: Sign Back In to Airbnb and Grant Access

  1. If you aren’t already logged in to Airbnb, you’ll be taken to the Airbnb login page. Sign in with your original Airbnb account.

  2. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see a page asking you to grant Breezeway access to your reservation data.

  3. Accept to complete the connection.

Step 3: Confirm Your Data Is Syncing

  • Once the connection is restored, your listings and reservations should begin updating in Breezeway shortly.

  • Spot-check a few listings and upcoming reservations against Airbnb to confirm they match.

If your listings or reservations still aren’t syncing after reauthorization, or you notice duplicates, contact us at support@breezeway.io and we’ll take a closer look.
