Tasks now log a history entry any time a cost is added, edited, or deleted, giving your team a clear audit trail without leaving Breezeway.
Key benefits:
Full visibility into cost changes at the task level.
Accountability across teams with timestamped, user-attributed entries.
Confidence when pushing tasks to integration partners, knowing any post-push cost changes are captured.
What's included:
New cost history entries appear in the Task History section.
Each entry shows who made the change, when, and what changed.
Edits display before and after values; deletions confirm what was removed.
Applies to web only; cost history will be tracked on tasks going forward (existing tasks are not backfilled).
Multi-device support for smart locks
Available: March 23
Smart locks now support multiple devices per property or building, making it easier to manage access across shared entry points with a single code.
Key benefits:
Simplified access management across multi-entry properties.
One code shared across all connected lock devices.
Easier coordination for guests and service teams.
What's included:
Multiple smart locks can now be assigned to a single property or building.
Locks assigned at the building level support shared entry points like main entrances.
Access codes automatically sync across all connected devices.
Properties linked to a building share the same generated code.
Active devices are billable once connected.
Device Enhancement: Failed access code notifications for smart locks
Available: March 19
When an access code fails to generate on a connected smart lock, Breezeway now notifies clients in real time so issues are caught before they reach guests or service providers.
Key benefits:
Proactive awareness of access code failures before they impact arrivals.
Reduced operational stress from last-minute troubleshooting.
Fewer guest-facing issues caused by silent lock failures.
What's included:
In-app notifications when an access code fails to generate on a device.
Improved failure messaging coming in a future update to surface clearer, more actionable details on why a failure occurred.
Operations Enhancement: Vacancy and occupancy automated workflow enhancements
Available: March 16, 2026
Two new enhancements give property managers greater control over when recurring and reservation-based tasks are scheduled, reducing manual adjustments and repeat visits.
Key benefits:
Smarter task scheduling based on actual property occupancy.
Fewer manual adjustments and repeat service visits.
Less risk of maintenance interrupting an active guest stay.
What's included:
Vacancy condition in new reservation workflows: Tasks only trigger when a property has been vacant for a set number of days and a new check-in is approaching.
Occupancy condition for repeating workflows: Recurring tasks automatically reschedule or skip when a property is occupied, moving to the next valid vacancy window or skipping if none exists within a set timeframe.
Both conditions are opt-in and must be enabled within a workflow; nothing changes by default.
Guide Enhancement: Display of half bathrooms in Guide
Available: March 10
Guide now displays half bathrooms as part of a property’s total bathroom count, helping property managers represent their homes more accurately for guests.
Key benefits:
More accurate property details in Guide.
Clearer expectations for guests reviewing property amenities.
Better representation of homes with half baths.
What’s included:
New Half Bathroom element available in Breezeway.
Existing Powder Room elements now count toward half bathrooms in Guide.
If one half bathroom exists, Guide displays the total as X.5 bathrooms (for example, 1.5 bathrooms)
If multiple half bathrooms exist, Guide displays separate lines for full bathrooms and half bathrooms.
