Smart task estimates

  • Available: February 23

  • Smart Task Estimates automatically calculate and display average task times based on the last 90 days of completion data, removing significant outliers for more accurate results. Estimates appear directly on tasks and feed into User Planning to give schedulers clearer visibility into team capacity.

  • Key benefits:

    • Reduce guesswork when scheduling

    • Better understand daily workload and capacity

    • Make more informed task assignments

  • What’s included:

    • Automatic 90-day average time calculations

    • Outlier filtering for improved accuracy

    • Estimates displayed on tasks and in User Planning

This setting is defaulted off and can be enabled in platform settings.

Support for internal and external property names

  • Available: February 18

  • You can now configure separate Internal and External Property Names within the Property Profile.

  • Many teams use structured naming conventions internally for operational clarity. With this update, you can keep those detailed internal names while displaying a clean, branded name to guests.

  • Key benefits:

    • Maintain detailed internal naming for your team

    • Present polished property names in guest-facing materials

    • Update either field at any time

  • What’s included

    • New Internal Name and External Name fields in the Property Profile

    • Internal Name powers search and identification across Breezeway

    • External Name appears in Guide, Messaging, Upsells, and Guest Verification

    • External Name defaults to the Internal Name if left blank

    • No changes at rollout. Both fields match your current property name

This gives you more control over how properties appear internally and to guests, without disrupting your existing workflows.

Support for Additional Departments

  • Available: February 11th

  • You can now add and manage 14 new departments directly in the Settings. Admins can choose from available department options and enable them for their company. Once added, new departments function just like Cleaning, Maintenance, and Inspections — including permissions, defaults, template organization, and filtered views across the platform.

  • Key benefits:

    • Organize work across more teams beyond core departments

    • Assign clear permissions and ownership by department

    • Filter reporting and data views for better operational visibility

    • Scale your operations without adding complexity

  • What’s included:

    • The ability to add and manage Additional Departments in Settings (Admin users only)

    • Full permissions, defaults, templates, and filtering support for each new department

    • Seamless integration into existing task and reporting workflows

This update gives you more control over how your teams are structured in Breezeway, helping you reflect real-world operations inside one connected system.

Upsells Quick Win: Easily duplicate upsells

  • Available: February 9th

  • You can now duplicate an existing upsell directly from the Upsells list page. Simply click the duplicate icon to create a new upsell with the same targeting and conditions already in place. This makes it faster to launch seasonal offers, test new pricing, or tailor similar experiences across properties without rebuilding from scratch.

  • Key benefits:

    • Save time by reusing existing targeting and condition settings

    • Reduce manual setup and potential errors

    • Quickly create variations of high-performing upsells

  • What’s included:

    • A new duplicate icon on the Upsells list page (Admin users only)

    • Duplicated upsells are created in an inactive state, even if the original is active

    • Full editing and management capabilities before activation

Duplicated upsells will not be visible to guests until you’re ready, giving you full control as you refine and publish your offer.
